Wine Flights

One new addition to my list of "oh, so fancy" items is the wine flight.  Designed to give the taster a sampling of varietals from a certain region or vintage, wine flights are high on the list of fancy and elegant indulgences.  This most recent experience with wine flights provided a relaxing ambiance with a live musician and wonderful company.  My favorite wine was a deliciously dry Sauvignon Blanc.  We also incorporated some paired appetizers of Honey Gorgonzola, Olive Tapenade, Prosciutto Fig, and Mango Tomato Bruschettas.  Delectable!

 

 

Fancy Music

It's hard to talk about fancy pants music without mentioning Lady Gaga. Not only has she become one of the best selling pop artists of all time, her unique style and personality have turned her into a beloved celebrity icon. In only two years, Lady Gaga has sold over 10 million albums and 35 million singles worldwide, including her smash hits "Poker Face", "Just Dance" and "Bad Romance". With every new release, Gaga continues to break boundaries and impress her massive following of "little monsters".

Of course, another fanciful favorite band of mine is Muse.  Their space rock music is amazingly crazy and full of madness.  I love it!  Totally fancy pants...
