Who's more fancy than the British?
Located directly opposite the British Museum in London, Fancy That is the fanciest souvenir shop there could be, not to mention the museum itself. The British Museum was founded in 1753, the first national public museum in the world. From the beginning it granted free admission to all 'studious and curious persons'. Visitor numbers have grown from around 5,000 a year in the eighteenth century to nearly 6 million today. Several high profile acquisitions include the Rosetta Stone (1802), the Townley collection of classical sculptures (1805), and the Parthenon sculptures (1816). At a comedy show in Bath (super fancy), they joked that these acquisitions were more like stolen souvenirs from conquered countries. Still fancy.

Castles
What could be more fancy than castles? For instance, think about who usually lives in castles. Kings, queens, prince and princesses are just the first few inhabitants to come to mind. Of course, castles most often stand protected by knights and guards from dragons, barbarians, and evil wizards who threaten the fancy pants way of life.

Fancy Roman Baths in Bath
Strolling through historic Bath is fancy pants incarnate. Detailed architectural design is gorgeously displayed everywhere from the Roman Baths to the magnificent Abbey and the collection of Georgian homes known as The Circus. Even the romantically fancy Jane Austen possessed an elegant townhouse here and attended fashionable society events at the fabulous Assembly Rooms. Also available in town is a chance to soak in those natural hot waters that Bath is named for at the extremely popular and pampering Thermae Bath Spa.
